Every Day In Every Way I Am Getting Better and Better. Am I?

This quote is and has been said by a wide range of individuals. Many find success by doing so while others don't. Why is this?

I've come to know, through personal experience, why it wasn't working for me in the past and why it works currently. So I want to share some insights that I learned that will maybe help you on your journey to your better self.

When I came across this quote a few years back I implemented it into my daily routines by saying "every day in every way I am getting better and better" quietly to myself throughout the day.

I would do this consciously and with feelings while visualizing a better version of myself. I kept this going for about 60 days but I wasn't necessarily getting better and better. I started to ask myself why it wasn't working. Why wasn't I getting better and better?

I reflected on this for a short while and then the answer came to me. And it made complete sense.

I was missing something. But what was it?

I was saying the quote and I would make sure to feel like the better version of myself that I envisioned. But what I wasn't doing was actually being the better version of myself when situations would occur and test me to do so.

That was the piece that I was missing. I was asking to be better but wasn't acting better. My reactions to certain situations were the same and so my life results weren't changing.

Once I came to this realization and consciously reacted better than I normally would to situations that tested me, my life changed for the better.

I had to adjust to my new way of being.

Now I'm not saying that it was easy breezy at first to change. I already had habitual ways of reacting to things so I had to consciously choose to react different consistently for change to begin to occur.

For example:  I used to get irritated when I would get interrupted while I was writing because I like to finish my thoughts about what I'm writing before I have to focus on something else someone is saying. I was having the same frustrated reaction each time. This was keeping me in a loop of energy that was causing it to keep occurring the way that it did.

I became more highly vibratious!

Once I started to have more "highly vibratious" reactions to being interrupted, they begin to slowly fade away and eventually not happen at all.

This is because the messages that I was sending to my subconscious had changed. The energy that I was vibrating when I reacted to being interrupted had changed consciously, then subconsciously.

It takes 7-21 repetitions of the same message for it to embed into the subconscious. But it also takes conscious actions in order for anything to become embedded in the physical realm. Then physical change will begin to happen.

This is one of the biggest lessons that I learned about attracting the type of results that I want to occur consistently throughout my life. And everyday in every way I am getting better and better.
